Are we insured?
Answer: Yes, we are insured and we will provide you with a copy of these documents if desired.
Do we have references?
Answer: Yes, we have a list of references that we will happily share. The majority of our references are loyal customers who we have worked with on multiple projects.
Who will complete the renovation work?
Answer: We have installers to complete all general carpentry projects as well as certified fabricators on staff. We utilize the same skilled electricians, plumbers, and painters as needed. These are professionals that we have worked with on a regular basis for several years.
Do crews stay on one project or work on multiple projects simultaneously?
Answer: Once a crew has started a project, they will work solely on that project until it is 100% complete. Crews will never jump between projects.
How quickly can my project get started?
Answer: Once we receive a fully executed contract, all products are ordered. As soon as all products are received, projects will be scheduled based upon our availability. Typically we are able to schedule projects within 6 to 8 weeks. During extremely busy times it may take 8 to 10 weeks for a project to begin.
How long does the process take for a countertop replacement?
Answer: From template to installation, a countertop replacement can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
Do you remove my existing countertop to create the template for the new countertop?
Answer: We do not remove your existing countertops to create the template, we make wooden templates.
How long will a Bath or Kitchen Renovation take once started?
Answer: Bath Renovations take approximately 7 to 10 business days to complete. Kitchen Renovations that do not include tearing down walls take approximately 10 business days. Kitchen Renovations that include tearing down walls take approximately 10 to 15 business days.
For a Bath or Kitchen Renovation, should I replace my floor or leave the existing floor in place?
Answer: It all depends on the new design of the room and the condition of the existing floor. If the existing floor is in relatively good condition and will work with the new design, there is really no need to change it. However, if the existing floor will look dated or will not work with the new design, then we recommend upgrading it to complement the new design and products.
How much will it cost to remodel my kitchen or bathroom?
Answer: The project investment will depend on many factors, from the size of a kitchen and bathroom, to the type of materials chosen for a kitchen or bathroom. Kitchen cost is also determined by whether new appliances are wanted or if existing will be reused.
Do you sell appliances?
Answer: We have teamed up with several family owned appliance stores, such as Voss TV & Appliance, Jefferson Hills; Don’s Appliance, Canonsburg; and Bridgeville Appliance, Bridgeville.
Is there any work that I can take on myself?
Answer: We are willing to work with our customers on “By Owner” phases of the project or if the owners have a preferred electrician, plumber, or painter. Often using our professionals ensures an efficient timeline of the renovation project.
